With school recently on vacation, many of our younger patients visited our office, often regarding a "dull pain in the back of the jaw." Our third molars (or Wisdom teeth) start to erupt around the ages of 18-21. A visit to the dentist so he/she may examine them and evaluate them using a Panoramic X-ray is a good idea to protect and prevent damage to the molars in front of them as well as to prevent any infection.
